2006 Volvo xc90 d5 awd 2.4 diesel automatic spares/ repairs Mot until 1st November 2025 Advisories were lower ball joint dust cover/ offside reg lamp inoperative Starts runs and drives well has built in sat nav electric windows built in booster seat in rear 7 seater with rear seats good tyres all round towbar with electrics original volvo alloy wheels Reason for spares repairs Can be driven away but has a slight water leak so will need topping up regularly needs bottom ball joint inner tie rod might need ether a engine mount or exhaust moving over due to there being a vibration somewhere under the car unsure which one it is would advise trailering away but can be driven away with water kept topped up been in daily use until yesterday but now have a new car so no longer needed. Suspected oil cooler needs replacement Creamy water in water tank No cream in in actual oil Water tank not pressurising Doesn’t overheat Looks like oil is leaking from oil cooler With all that in mind I would say it’s the typical oil cooler issue Runs and drives fine and will drive anywhere local ok but I wouldn’t recommend going further. Has recently had new rear discs and pads and has lots of service history. Everything else works and only has check coolant light on the dash. Roughly £1800 if this was fixed with a new mot and the gearbox alone is £350.
