Citroen DS3 - 1.6 THP DSport Plus Euro 5 3dr
MOT failure on 2nd fast idle emissions test, believed to be due to a slight misfire in March 2025. Did have spark plugs and oil change March 2025, along with other MOT failure items fixed (new tyre & replaced bulb). Also ran some Cataclean through it, but emissions failed on retest still. I've owned the vehicle since 2017. Fun little car to drive, but since working from home it has seen very little mileage each year as it's our second car. I've not got around to getting it fixed, so it's time to sell it unfortunately. Plenty of photos on the advert. Overall physical condition is decent for a car of that age. A few little chips and scratches about, and there is some fading on the roof. Rear parking sensors also have shown a fault for some time. Comes with 2 sets of keys. Battery is currently flat, so will need jump to get started. Please bear in mind there is no MOT so you cannot test drive on the road. Please note this vehicle is affected by the Takata airbag recall (as are all 2009-2019 C3 / DS3's). Citroen will replace those for free, I'm awaiting on an appointment for the replacement to be done. Our C1 runs and drives absolutely perfect with no issues what so ever! its MOT’d til December and has not failed an MOT in the last six years of ownership! It is mechanically sound, has averaged less than 5,000 miles per year, way beneath average! It starts, stops, drives excellent with no unwanted knocks, leaks or warning light! It is amazing in fuel, a full tank is approx £40 and you will get 50+ MPG around town and 70+ MPG on a run. The annual Road Tax is only £20 per year! It would suit either a first driver or someone needing it as a reliable daily run about. You cannot get a lower insurance rated car, it’s group one, the lowest! It’s certainly not a brand new car and does have age related marks totally consummate with age but nothing exciting. It actually polishes up really well! The only bit I’d advise is the bumper clips could do with being swapped, they always go in these as they are brittle plastic, really cheap, less than £8 on eBay and a very simple DIY click in job, nothing to shout about and you don’t actually need to do it, just me being OCD! Its just had a brand new set of wheel trim covers as the old ones were past their best. These look really nice! It comes with Electric Heated Rear Screen, Stereo CD Radio, Smartphone Charging Point, 2x Cup Holders, Tilt & Slide Steering Wheel, Drop Down Rear Bench Seat etc The price is strictly £1250. Its had more than that spent on it over the last couple of years alone keeping it in perfect mechanical shape. Any test drive will strictly be undertaken by me but more than happy to take you on a decent drive to show you all is well.
