If you are after a cheap reliable car that is mechanically perfect then here it is! For sale is our 2006 Kia Picanto 1.1 petrol 5 door which averages 55 mpg, is cheap to insure and tax :) Local delivery considered if it helps. Fixed price bargain £650. Our Picanto is mechanically perfect! No issues at all. Its MOT’d til late August and has not failed a test since 2018! It has a chain driven engine so no scary cam belt to worry about and has been serviced on time all the time. In the last couple of years it has had new tyres, new clutch, new suspension bits, new exhaust, sill work to future proof it and new battery (together these cost more than we are asking for the car!). It has no knocks, issues, warning lights etc. Last years couple of advisories were immediately taken care off. It will fly thru its next MOT, it’s only done 2000 miles since its last MOT! It will average 55 mpg and 65+ mpg on a run. Road Tax is £13 a month. Insurance is very cheap. It is amazing in fuel, a full tank is approx £40 and you will get 50+ MPG around town and 70+ MPG on a run. The annual Road Tax is only £20 per year! It would suit either a first driver or someone needing it as a reliable daily run about. You cannot get a lower insurance rated car, it’s group one, the lowest! It’s certainly not a brand new car and does have age related marks totally consummate with age but nothing exciting. It actually polishes up really well! The only bit I’d advise is the bumper clips could do with being swapped, they always go in these as they are brittle plastic, really cheap, less than £8 on eBay and a very simple DIY click in job, nothing to shout about and you don’t actually need to do it, just me being OCD! Its just had a brand new set of wheel trim covers as the old ones were past their best. These look really nice! It comes with Electric Heated Rear Screen, Stereo CD Radio, Smartphone Charging Point, 2x Cup Holders, Tilt & Slide Steering Wheel, Drop Down Rear Bench Seat etc The price is strictly £1250. Its had more than that spent on it over the last couple of years alone keeping it in perfect mechanical shape.
