Its an estate Whoever had the car before me used it for work its a great workhorse. last year I discovered that the car had been written off previously. the last owner didn't tell me that ! apparently because it was not worth the expense of repairing? - However - I cant find anything that has been done to the car - its passed its last 3 MOT's and the next one is due end of June 2026. Perhaps would suit someone who needs a workhorse for their job ? its great on fuel economy being an ecoflex engine. It has never broken down on me. My last MOT chap said it has a minor oil leak, and just keep the engine oil topped up. the radio display its a LCD display and must have been banged in the past as display is half white see photo But the Radio and all electricals work fine. (new display 25 on ebay apparently) Dash keeps comes up with add oil, but the oil level is fine. Kia Rio2 for Sale I bought this car while mine was off the road and have driven about 500 miles in the last 2 weeks. It’s been reliable with no major problems. There’s a little noise from the exhaust, which seems like it could just be a loose nut or something simple. The brakes will need some work — either new pads or possibly discs. You can hear a scratching sound when driving, and if you press the brakes while reversing it shakes a little. MOT is valid until January 2026.
