MG MGF 1.8 petrol 2001 LOW MILEAGE
MG MGF, 2001, 1.8 petrol, 28,404 miles, MOT until 08/09/25 (only done 100 miles since last MOT) Perfect summer car. Selling on behalf of a family member. This is a very low mileage all original MGF. MOT history backs up the ultra low mileage. Runs and drives great. Soft top is in good order and folds down with ease to enjoy on those sunny days. Only reason to sell is due to lack of use and it deserves to be used more. Recent work includes new rear tyres and a small patch of welding on the sill for the MOT, and a new genuine rover/mg clutch master cylinder. Just had the suspension pumped up to its correct height, so it is all ready to go. Overall good condition only thing that lets it down is the bodywork. It is suffering with a bit of laquer peel, mainly on the bonnet and boot lid. Been quoted around £350 to have the paintwork done on it. Collection from Chivenor, North Devon. Good car, mechanically sound as far as we know. Been used as a run around. Good bodywork. Drives lovely. Does have couple of issues. Bonet catch is broken, entry manual via front hence missing grill! And also has a battery or immobiliser issue which sometime causes car not to start but is quickly resolved by a jiggle of negative battery connector - then immediately starts. This has not been a big issue for us however will need to be happy to open bonet etc to get car to start when having one of these moments. Great little run around, plenty of life left in it. Recent oil change. Mot Feb 2026. Open to sensible offers.
