This Audi A4 2.0 Tdi Avant has been a superb and dependable workhorse for the near 30,000 miles I have covered while I have owned it. It has been just that, a superb workhorse needing only the usual service maintenance and tyres and had a cambelt at 195,000. Don't be put off by the mileage there are far more poorly maintained cars out there with half the miles and not as reliable as this old girl, the car puls strong, does not smoke even when it pulls a trailer, clutch is good, and returns 45mpg pretty much all the time. It really doesn't look its age or mileage with its genuine Audi 18" Multi Spoke alloys and red calipers, the black pack dechrome also sets it off from other models. I will be sad to see her go as it has been so reliable I may live to regret it, but my work brings even more miles for me to cover soon. Well maintained and still runs well. 4 new tyres in October 2024. New battery in March 2025. New rear brake discs and pads June 2025. MOT until October 2025. Clutch sometimes doesn’t lift up fully in hot weather- it can be lifted by placing foot under the clutch. Was written off a few years ago when a van reversed into the side- the repair was estimated at just over the value of approximately £3,500 at the time. We purchased it back and had it repaired. Air conditioning ineffectual. Fan only works on high speed (setting 4). Paintwork split on rear bumper for approximately 2-3 inches- covered by UK sticker.
