2007 Land Rover Freelander 2 HSE. Spares or repair. Car has covered 161,450 miles. 2 keys, partial service history. V5C. Maintained/serviced by myself for the last few years (career engineer). Car has all the usual HSE extras. This car failed its MOT last year on corroded sills. The rest of the car is in good condition. The bodywork, apart from the sills, is in decent condition bar a few age related marks. The engine and gearbox are perfect. The car runs perfectly, no smoke from the exhaust. Doesn't burn oil. All the electrics work... mirrors/windows/heated seats/sunroof/etc. No lights on the dashboard. You have two options with this vehicle. You could get a couple of sill panels to repair the sills and then you'd have a fully functional car. Or, you could part it out for spares as all parts are in functional condition. Either way, there is a lot of value still left in this car. I'm going to get another car so I can't be bothered to do either. NOTE: this car has no MOT, road tax (SORN'ed) or insurance so it absolutely will NOT be road tested. It will, however, be able to drive onto a trailer/low loader as it is fully functional otherwise. Land Rover Td4 Freelander 2005 05 plate Mileage is less than 149K. I drive it every other day. The car drives brilliantly as further repairs have been carried out. Receipt dated 27/6/2025 from land rover specialist garage. Something worth mentioning is that for the past 4-5 yrs, I've always used premium diesel since it's been recommended by my mechanic. Premium diesel from Costco Birmingham as I am a member. Had the car for about 7-8 yrs, bought another car so need to have 2 4x4 MOT ends in May 2026. All advisories have been repaired at a land rover specialist garage except headlamp discoloration issues caused by age. I have receipt for advisories repairs carried out. For the discoloration of headlamp, I've applied a liquid and it's clear now. Clutch in its whole was done less than 2 months ago at A1 clutch in Tipton. I also have receipt from A1 clutch. Further repairs carried out by land rover specialist garage on 27/6/2025 and receipt available. The car is a much pleasure to drive. Throughout the years I've had it, it hasn't given me many issues. I try to repair the advisories even if it's a pass MOT. Any repairs were carried out at a land rover specialist, located literally 1 min drive from my place. I enjoy driving it as it is solid and robust. No leaks, no smoke. No warning lights on, no overheating. Both rear windows don't work. Both front windows work. Central locking works, however, driver side rear door doesn't unlock with central unlocking but it does lock with central locking 1 key. receipts Tow bar w/electr Service Seat cover 2 days old. Big service was done less than 2 yrs ago Tyres are good The car is very good mechanically, it's a solid old car. Pics will show a dent, scratch I drive the car so mileage will slightly go up. I have for sale a Landrover Freelander which due to the MOT running out I am selling as spares and repairs. It has a service history up to 137000 miles and since then I have serviced the vehicle myself including a 6 monthly oil change. I have fitted four new tyres but then took the car off the road as I bought a new vehicle so the tyres have literally done very little mileage and the alloy wheels are also in excellent condition. The engine is superb and it runs perfectly and always starts first time in all weathers but the bodywork is rusty in places as can be seen from the photos. The underneath is solid and the interior is in excellent condition and the car had new brake discs and pads all round a few years ago just before I bought the car off a colleague at work. I am not asking much for the car as I now need the space on my drive and to be honest the tyres and alloys would be almost worth what I'm asking. Grab a bargain now.
