Vauxhall Meriva - 1.4i 16v Life 5dr - 11 Months MOT, Great First Car
Our trusty Vauxhall Meriva, this has been my wife's car for the past 4 years and 15k miles. Overall, a fantastic car that has had no expense spared whilst in our ownership. I have spent in excess of three grand on servicing and MOT's. Has had a full exhaust, all 4 springs, rear calipers, brake pads all round, tyres all round, more recently suspension struts, top mounts, anti roll bars and a CV Boot. JUst over 300 miles ago it had a full service including spark plugs, so its good for another 12 months. Recently also had uprated front headlight bulbs. Interior of the car is immaculate, has been looked after and has seat covers so the seats underneath look brand new. Car also comes with a USB stereo which we never had fitted as the company sent us the wrong wiring harness (easy fix). The bodywork is not the best, has been well looked after but some kind person in a white van got too close to the drivers door and has put a kink in the door (see pics). With a good polish and wax, its not really noticeable, apart from that, its a straight car. The roof has some laquer peel, which I will attempt to polish and put a coat of wax on to help protect from the elements. Only other issue is the rear door window on the passenger side had a failed regulator, so we had our mechanic fix the window in place. Its fixable with a new manual regulator but never bothered us. Comes with 2 keys (one remote, one broken remote) and as much paperwork as I can find. Tyre's all in great condition (2 almost brand new) All recent MOT's and services are here. A fantastic spacious family car with a great boot and low mileage, starts at the turn of the key and drives straight and true. Would be a great first car for someone or for a family who want a reliable, well maintained car for the school run. Any questions, please let me know.

Car has no MOT and the instrument panel/display is intermittent. Good runner id good condition for year and has only covered around 56-57000 mls. Car failed MOT on rear subframe assembly (see image of MOT cert) and needs a welding repair plus some advisories. Cost for all repairs is estimated at between 300-400 pounds. Car value when done is approx. 1400-1500 pounds so, we've left good value in the car once done! Display is mostly not working but we have an image from 2 years ago showing the then mileage. The car is only driven by my wife to go to work 4 days a week and does 15 mls/day. It has new tyres and is fairly clean. We've maintained the car having any work needed done there and then including a new starter last year but to be fair, it's about the only issue we've had other than a couple of tyres. She runs well and everything works as it should. We're not fixing it because, I have a company car coming and just don't need this anymore so, we're letting the insurance lapse and have SORN the car. Current value if MOT'd would be between 14-1500 quid so, we looked at other cars with similar probs and priced this accordingly and fairly. Any inspection welcome but I'm not gonna listen to stupid offers and or accommodate tyre kickers! It is what it is, a good 21 yr old car with a repair required to bring it back to road legal. A new Bentley it is NOT!!

Hi, selling as parts and spares, not as separate parts as whole car. The car runs great, but unfortunately it has failed its mot on exhaust emission. You can see from the images what it needs to be mended, already spent a lot on it recently with putting in new centre console/stereo/speedometer, and some work on the engine (see images). The last photo is to show the quote to get the car through its mot, Unfortunately I just don’t have the money to get this done. Our C1 runs and drives absolutely perfect with no issues what so ever! its MOT’d til December and has not failed an MOT in the last six years of ownership! It has a Full Service History, the book has run out of room for stamps! In the last couple of years its had a new Clutch costing £475, the Sills protected & future proofed, £400, new Tyres, £200 and lots more! It is mechanically sound, has averaged less than 5,000 miles per year, way beneath average! It starts, stops, drives excellent with no unwanted knocks, leaks or warning light! It is amazing in fuel, a full tank is approx £40 and you will get 50+ MPG around town and 70+ MPG on a run. The annual Road Tax is only £20 per year! It would suit either a first driver or someone needing it as a reliable daily run about. You cannot get a lower insurance rated car, it’s group one, the lowest! It’s certainly not a brand new car and does have age related marks totally consummate with age but nothing exciting. It actually polishes up really well! The only bit I’d advise is the bumper clips could do with being swapped, they always go in these as they are brittle plastic, really cheap, less than £8 on eBay and a very simple DIY click in job, nothing to shout about and you don’t actually need to do it, just me being OCD! Its just had a brand new set of wheel trim covers as the old ones were past their best. These look really nice! It comes with Electric Heated Rear Screen, Stereo CD Radio, Smartphone Charging Point, 2x Cup Holders, Tilt & Slide Steering Wheel, Drop Down Rear Bench Seat etc The price is strictly £1250. Its had more than that spent on it over the last couple of years alone keeping it in perfect mechanical shape. Any test drive will strictly be undertaken by me but more than happy to take you on a decent drive to show you all is well. I may be able to help deliver it too if you are not too far away and it helps you out.
