Most parts rework there for work done on it throughout its time. It’s got the usual rust spots in the usual spots These engines are pre restrictions and are extremely responsive and reliable . I would have kept it but too expensive for me to put into a garage. If you know you know , engine management light in the dash DPF sensor , doesn’t affect the cars performance , doesn’t go into limp mode… will drive away .£325 ovno . 2009 vw Passat 2.0 tdi car has done roughly 215000 miles doesn’t use any oil or coolant good strong engine had a new clutch and flywheel at 167000 miles and timing belt and water pump done at 174000 miles has good tyres all round body work not the best but not bad for it’s age bad bits It seems to be doing a dpf regen quite often not sure if the Egr valve is sticking open or could do with a good run up the motorway no lights on the dashboard
