For sale is my Vauxhall Astra 3 door hatchback. The car drives fine but is in need of a little tlc. The car drives fine but has a short mot left on it, 15/07/2025, it needs the horn looking at as it’s stopped working, aircon doesn’t work and it needs a new window regulater and a new wheel bearing potentially! Apart from this the car runs and drives fine. I have owned the car for 6 years now and it hasn’t skipped a beat. Only selling due to new car, it’s has 134.000 on the clock with part service history. VW Golf Mk4 1.9 GT TDi 3 door in Black Magic (X286 OOG). Date of first registration: 30/11/2000 AJM Engine Code Number of former keepers is 2. I’ve had this car for nearly 20 years and done around 195,000 miles in it. As you can see from the pictures it’s a great looking car that just needs some TLC and money spending on it. I’ve now got another Mk4 Golf with only 66’000 miles on it, so this one has to go I’m afraid. I have the V5 document in my name. I’m selling the vehicle as Spares or Repair as I believe the turbo seals have gone. The engine was intermittently smoking for a few months and then about 2 months ago the turbo seals gave in and now oil is passing straight past the turbo and into the exhaust and then leaks straight out of a hole in the exhaust. It will start and run but its not advisable without repairing/replacing the turbo first due to the oil leaking straight out! The car is 100% original and has never been modified in anyway. It’s done 263,000 miles and had dealer history up to around 160,000 miles. Since then, it’s been serviced by a local garage who also does the MOT. I have nearly every previous MOT certificate and a few old tax discs. There are 2 keys for it. It’s MOT’d till September (Expiry date 19/09/2025) It’s been regularly serviced and had new rear shock absorbers and rear bushes last year. I believe the cambelt has a service schedule of 80,000 miles and this was changed along with the water pump around 60,000 miles ago. As it’s sat for about two months the battery is flat and it needs jumping to get it started. It currently has the spare wheel on as the tyre on one of the alloys is down below the legal limit and will need replacing. The alloy wheels are in pretty good condition considering they are 25 years old. It has locking wheel nuts fitted. The two front tyres are also probably down to the legal limit and will need to be replaced. It will need front discs and pads changing as they are warped and vibrate when braking from speed. There is a clicking/knocking sounds when you turn to the right – I think the CV joint is maybe knackered. Both door mirror glasses are smashed and will need replacing. The drivers seat has worn through on the side lumbar support – as they all do on this mileage. It has the original clutch so the pedal is very heavy. Passenger window doesn’t lower as the regulator is broken and the central locking doesn’t work on this side but you can use the key to open the lock. It originally had the single slot CD player but I removed it as it was broken. I was going to replace it but never got around to it. They are on eBay for around £25.00 The interior is looking fairly tired now due to it’s age and the leather gear knob has worn through. Both front wings are showing signs of corrosion and there are small areas of corrosion in other areas as well – such as the rear wheel arches. I’ve had a look along the sills and they seem to be in good shape. Please see the pictures for reference. There are a few small scrapes and minor dents just from everyday use and as to be expected from a car of this age and mileage. The vehicle is in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands (B73 6HQ). If you send me a message I can send you more pictures if required and answer any questions you may have. You are welcome to view the vehicle but be aware that IT IS NOT DRIVEABLE due to the oil leak. I'm open to sensible offers for the car but I have been very honest with the description and won't let it go for nothing. For sale is my Totoya Celica T-Sport. I've owned it for around 3 years, with the intention of it being a bit of a project, but unfortunately I just don't have the time or money. It doesn't have an MOT and is currently SORNed, so a buyer will need to arrange transport - this is reflected in the sale price. It starts and runs absolutely fine, and I was using it daily until February (just because I started using alternative transport). There is a slow leak of the coolant, which I've not investigated too much but happens even when the car hasn't been running, so I think it may be a simple fix. It also has a bit of a noisy heat shield that sometimes vibrates, usually when it's cold. There are advisories outstanding from the previous MOT that will likely to be sorted before a new MOT. The bodywork isn't in great condition, as can be seen in the pictures. There is a partial service history, but nothing recent. A few bits have been replaced in recent years, including both rear suspension arms, the radiator, the battery, and the exhaust (still stock). Also included in the sale are: • OZ Racing Formula HLT Alloys (£1,200.00 new) • MeisterR ZetaCRD Coilovers (£880.00 new) Included in the pictures is a Sony XAV-AX5550D Head Unit (£350.00 new). I'll remove this and put the original radio back in prior to sale, but am willing to sell it if the buyer is interested. it's a lovely car, and would make a great project for someone with the time to invest in it. Otherwise, it would make a good donor car, or I'm sure good money could be made by breaking it (I just don't have the space!).
