BMW 3 SERIES Convertible 318ci e46 petrol clean air zone compliant
BMW e46 318Ci convertible 2.0 petrol 5 speed manual in Topaz Blue. It had been parked up for 4 years by the previous owner when it stopped running and left under a tarpaulin on the driveway. I bought it this year as something to tinker with and get running. I've replaced the parts that it needed to get it running and and to pass an MOT, including fuel pump, crankshaft position sensor, camshaft position sensor, tyres, boot struts, rocker cover gasket, CCV, Vanos oil seals, vacuum pump oil seals, door speakers and various bulbs and now it runs and drives and everything works. Has had new oil, oil filter, plugs and airfilter. The roof is in great condition and opens and closes perfectly, everything works. Video linked below to avideo I uploaded of the roof working - https://youtu.be/ltRhu2NL-9g It could do with a new passenger wing as it has rusted through and has had a previous repair by a former owner but could be repairable by someone with the skils, also the front bumper is a bit faded it could do with some general TLC as it's been stood for so long prior to my getting it at the beginning of the year and it being 23 years old. It failed the first MOT in April as it was burning oil, so have done the Valve Stem Oil seals and it's now taxed and MOT'd. Runs very smoothly and was a very nice drive with the top down in the sunshine back from the MOT. I stopped using this car a couple of years ago because the brake discs were getting hot after 15 or so miles of driving it & have never got round to repairing it as I bought another car in order to get to work every day so in essence the brakes need looking at & that's about it really. The car does need an MOT which is why it's cheap. Overall it's in great condition for the year & everything works as it should. The engine sounds good & runs fine & for the year it is VERY low mileage!. The full leather interior is also in excellent condition. The car also incorporates a glass sliding panoramic roof. The private number plate IS included in the sale. No real service history is included but I did change the oil & filter every 12 months. 3!!! key's are also included with the car. Overall for the year it's a great looking car which needs just a small amount of TLC to once again make it into a stunner!. If you have any further questions please contact me.
