The car could do with some care and attention towards it with bits and pieces around the vehicle needing work. This car is a great runner, with both the engine and gearbox operating perfectly. It starts first time, every time, and drives smoothly without any issues. Mechanically, the car is in excellent shape. The automatic transmission shifts effortlessly and the engine is strong and responsive. It's done mostly motorway miles, and has never missed a beat. Recently, I've had the rear tyres replaced (within the last 4 weeks),and all four tyres match, offering a consistent and stable ride. BMW e46 318Ci convertible 2.0 petrol 5 speed manual in Topaz Blue. It had been parked up for 4 years by the previous owner when it stopped running and left under a tarpaulin on the driveway. I bought it this year as something to tinker with and get running. I've replaced the parts that it needed to get it running and and to pass an MOT, including fuel pump, crankshaft position sensor, camshaft position sensor, tyres, boot struts, rocker cover gasket, CCV, Vanos oil seals, vacuum pump oil seals, door speakers and various bulbs and now it runs and drives and everything works. Has had new oil, oil filter, plugs and airfilter. The roof is in great condition and opens and closes perfectly, everything works. Video linked below to avideo I uploaded of the roof working - https://youtu.be/ltRhu2NL-9g It could do with a new passenger wing as it has rusted through and has had a previous repair by a former owner but could be repairable by someone with the skils, also the front bumper is a bit faded it could do with some general TLC as it's been stood for so long prior to my getting it at the beginning of the year and it being 23 years old. It failed the first MOT in April as it was burning oil, so have done the Valve Stem Oil seals and it's now taxed and MOT'd. Runs very smoothly and was a very nice drive with the top down in the sunshine back from the MOT. We will be using the car daily in this lovely weather whilst it's for sale. 2.0 Petrol, Topaz Blue, M Sport wheels, Cream leather interior, cruise control, 5 speed manual, aircon, heated seats, electric memory seats, electric convertible roof, reversing parking sensors, Multi CD changer, remote central locking, Clean Airzone / ULEZ compliant Located in Avonmouth, Bristol. 11 months MOT. A great runner. Was top of the range in its day. Automatic, leather interior, 6 CD changer. Engine is completely sound and will run and run without issue. Body is a bit scuffed and dented but overall in OK condition. Interior is well-worn but still has plenty of life left in it. What’s good? Long MOT (11 months) 2 new front tyres. Low mileage. New-ish battery. 6 CD changer (if you’re seeing this in 2005 this is a great feature). Sound engine. Clean and functional interior. Bodywork not in bad shape. Seats can be taken out in various combinations to create loads of space for transporting stuff and doing dump runs and the like. Has the clips for roof bars. Masses of interior storage. Decent tyre on spare. 2x card type RFID keys. What’s not so good? Body has scuffs and dings from family usage. Interior has housed 3 children and shows it. Passenger side front door electric window doesn’t work. Wing mirrors are held on by duct tape (but are adjustable by hand and aren’t an MOT issue). Under seat drawer on driver side front seat has a broken front. Can probably be glued back on. Parcel shelf is missing. I might be able to find it but can’t guarantee. All in all this car is what it is. It’s 20 years old and has been well loved. I can tell you its lineage from when it was brand new as it used to be my grandparents’ car. They had it until 2021 when it came to us. We’ve used to it transport 3x kids. Aside from consumables it has never put us wrong. It’s taken us on holidays all over Europe and Britain. The engine is sound. The gear box and gear changes are smooth; we are automatic converts after having this car. I won’t lie and say this car is perfect. It’s 20yrs old and in that time it’s earned its keep. However, it’s reliable, strong, has great functionality and the long MOT is a real advantage. This car is perfect for anyone looking for a quick, cheap runaround, or for anyone doing a home renovation and who needs something with great interior space. It can be used for spares if you want, but it’s good to go on the road. Finally, I think this car has years left in it for the right person. It’s mechanically sound and in basically good shape. Happy to answer any questions but I am selling this car strictly as sold as seen. As I said, it is what it is and the low price reflects this. Open to reasonable offers.

Rover 45 Diesel. Spares/repairable. One of the last indigenous British saloon cars to be produced and a nice looking modern classic that will only appreciate. Two owners from new,cared for car solid car with all the bells and whistles (ex demonstrator)and in working order. The car wouldn't start one day so a transistor was professionally soldered into the fuel pump. Still wouldn't start so I fitted a mechanical injection pump out of a rover 200.The car starts but smokes. The L series diesel engine is a bulletproof engine (fitted to Land rovers) so probably nothing fundamentally wrong, just that I've inherited another car and this one I think just needs a bit more perseverance. (I'll be sorry to see it go)
